| Description | The Multipoint is essentially a portable Reliable Power Recorder with unique mounting arrangements. It has a base unit for all current and voltage connections and a separate plug-in acquisition unit for ease of maintenance. The base also has internal CTs which can be connected in series with existing CT secondaries or to a dedicated split core CT. An option is available to use portable plug-in type CTs where continuous operation does not permit connection of the aforementioned CTs. The Multipoint includes all of the options of the portable unit as standard but has an option to upgrade to high speed transient/waveform capture. Has polling software to automatically download, analyse and provide any type of alarm for any condition, e.g. print out warning of a deteriorating condition or page an engineer in the event of a serious dip or power failure. | |
| Application | Ideal for permanent monitoring of critical power systems, e.g banks, data centres, communication systems or process plants. Remote communication and polling can be done over WANs, LANs etc. enabling the engineer responsible for nationwide and/or worldwide facilities to remotely access each unit and use the extensive trending tools for preventative maintenance. | |
